Metallica have opened the vault and are re-broadcasting old concerts for fans stuck in lockdown. The band has launched “Metallica Monday’s” to help live music lovers fight the Monday quarantine blues.

“While we’re all doing our part and staying home, we find ourselves missing live music,” the band said. “So how about we dive back into a few of our favorite shows at a socially responsible distance? Not to sound too cheesy, but now more than ever, we’re in this together, and staying connected is how we’ll get through it. With that in mind, we’re bringing a series of live Metallica shows right to your couch!”

Additionally, Metallica have announced they will be donating $350,000 through their All Within My Hands Foundation to help fight COVID-19.

The concerts are being broadcast over Facebook and YouTube every Monday at 5 p.m. Check out their most recent flashback, recorded at Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco on August 12, 2017.
