Roseanne Barr, fresh off having her show cancelled by ABC for a series of racist tweets yesterday that crossed a line that show parent company ABC/Walt Disney Company couldn’t stomach, tweeted today, since deleted, blaming ‘2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting’ for her racist tirade.

Not willing to accept blame for her behavior, drug manufacterer Sanofi responded on Twitter in rapid fashion:

Barr since deleted the original tweet and has chosen to lash out instead.  She’s blamed everyone from Wanda Sykes to the show’s cast and writers for throwing her under the bus.  And then some of those tweets were deleted.

Roseanne Barr’s Twitter saga didn’t end with the cancellation of her show Tuesday. Early Wednesday morning, she was back at it, first blaming Ambien and defensively comparing ABC’s response to her racist and otherwise offensive tweetstorm to those of other celebrities who have made controversial comments.
