February 16th, 2001: The day everyone learned that not only is Dave Grohl the former drummer of grunge band Nirvana — and current singer of post-grunge band the Foo Fighters — but also a super funny dude who doesn’t take his job too seriously, and watches the same movies you and I do.

Appearing on The Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborn, we fell in love with Dave Grohl because he’s just like us.

We’ve been raised to believe that we should be ourselves at all times, unless you can be Dave Grohl, in which case: you should be Dave Grohl.
